Chris "The Marvelous Mouth" Tokalon - Don't Tune Me, I'll Tune You

A comedian, composer, musician, sound therapist and wacky, walking windbag. In this highly entertaining show he calls himself "The Marvelous Mouth" because of his amazing abilities to mimic musical instruments, animals, birds and people.

His impersonations and accents in the accompanying 'tunes', display a range of vocal gymnatsics, interwoven with a nifty technical device called a loop sampler - a foot pedal which enables Chris to multi-track and loop his voice live in front of his audiences. A one man, one mouth orchestra!

Chris has played sax and flute in a variety of jazz ensembles, cabarets as well as being involved in and performing local original music with bands and artists such as Steve Newman, Tony Cox, Heather Mac, The Jazz Hounds, Drum Cafe and his own world music project Soulbird.
